Latin America and the Caribbean is home to many of the world’s most vital territories, ecosystems, and social movements,essential to life and to the future of our planet. At the same time, it is the world’s most dangerous region for activism and for those defending human rights and territories.

At FAU LAC, we help ensure that those facing the greatest risks have the conditions they need to respond to crises and sustain their collective action over time. We do this through support, partnerships, networks, and shared learning across the region and beyond.
