Who We Are
Mission
Rooted in the Global South, we are a feminist regional urgent action fund that seeks to transform power relations in the global funding system. We strengthen strategies that promote equitable and fair models to access resources, provide agile and flexible grants to social and feminist movements led by women, sex and gender dissidents and racialized communities in Latin America and the Caribbean. We also respond to contexts of crisis and opportunity, prioritizing protection, holistic safety and collective care for women, sex and gender dissidents and racialized communities at risk due to their work protecting and defending rights and territories in the region; and those who build and make possible transformations in the face of systems of oppression and injustice.
Vision
A Latin American and Caribbean region where a dignified life and justice are a reality for all women, sex and gender dissidents and racialized communities that protect and defend rights and territories. A place where they can fully exercise their rights and where their movements can continue transforming systems of oppression through collective care, protection and holistic safety.

Feminisms
We are guided by the transformative and mobilizing force of feminisms., that sustain the struggles for liberty, justice and dignifies life.
Justice, Equality and Equity
We promote the fair redistribution of resources and opportunities, strengthening those who take care of and sustain collective well-being.
Anti-racism
We take a stand against racial and colonial violencie, working to dismantle structures of oppression in all their forms.
Autonomy
We defend autonomy and self-determination of peoples, as well as sustainability and participatory democracy in the face of authoritarian threats and fascists.
From the South
We affirm that knowledge, solutions and political horizons are constructed from the territories of Abya Yala and its diverse communities.
Collective Care and Care at the Center
We recognize that care is a way of understanding the world and transforming it.
Learning Through Closeness and Trust
W elearn together with defenders and movements, recognizing the wisdom that emerges from exchange, closeness and reciprocity.
