A Dialogue between the International Coalition of Women Human Rights Defenders and the United Nations Special Procedures within the Framework of its Annual Convening

This year, the UAF-LA participated, together with UAF-United States, as part of The International Coalition of Women Human Rights Defenders in an initiative which sought to generate spaces for dialogue between Michel Forst, Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders and Dubravka Simonovic, Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women.

During this encounter, an up-date on the situation of women human rights defenders in the different regions of the world was provided, including the difficulties, challenges and specific risks that this work represents for women activists.
