Resourcing strategies in an age of permacrisis: critical lessons from feminist philanthropy

Biblioteca, Destacado-home, Destacado-noticias, Noticias, Publicaciones

This new report is a joint effort by the Urgent Action Fund Consortium and the Centre for Applied Human Rights at the University of York. It examines how responses to increasingly complex and interconnected crises are funded.

The research also explores what feminist philanthropy can teach us about ensuring resources reach those sustaining responses in their territories in a more timely, flexible, and relational way.

Drawing on the experience of the Urgent Action Funds, which include FAU LAC, the report shows that the impact of funding depends not only on how much is provided, but also on who is supported, when, under what conditions, and through what relationships of trust.

This collective efforts is an invitation to rethink how resources are deployed in crisis contexts, centering justice, collective care, and movement leadership.
